A message was sent at 21.40 regarding school provision from tomorrow – unfortunately due to the current demand on ParentApp this hasn’t yet been delivered but will hopefully arrive with you soon.
The message read:
As you will have heard in the Government announcement tonight, primary schools will be moving to remote learning with immediate effect. Only vulnerable children and those of critical workers will still attend school for face-to-face teaching. If you are eligible to register as a Critical Worker please ensure the form sent earlier today is completed by 10 pm tonight so that we can make our plans for tomorrow. Those registered as critical workers will be sent a further form on which you will need to identify the school provision required which should only be for the days you are required to work.
We understand that this is difficult for parents and we will work quickly to provide an effective package to support home learning. Because of the short notice given, all teachers will post a relevant selection of tasks and activities onto Google Classroom for tomorrow, with a fuller, more interactive on-line learning package from Wednesday.
Please keep checking ParentApp for further updates. Thank you
