Vision, Christian Values and Expectations
St Wilfrid’s, Halton is a Church of England primary school located approximately 2 miles north of Lancaster in the picturesque village of Halton. We have eight classes and 226 children, aged 4 to 11, on roll. All that we do at St Wilfrid’s is underpinned by our vision:
Love God, Love each other, and Love learning.
We pride ourselves on our caring and happy atmosphere. Our governors, staff, and children are well-motivated, positive, caring, and responsive, reflecting our strong Christian values and ethos. We seek to equip children with wisdom, skills, and knowledge needed to flourish in society now and in the future. We grow together in faith, knowing that God is always with us. As a school family, we promote interdependence, facing challenges and triumphs together

Our Curriculum
We learn together through a broad, challenging, and well-planned curriculum that helps develop our children’s character, skills, and knowledge for their flourishing now and in later life.
Our school sets very high standards, and we aim to be a school that children are proud to belong to, and where parents and families are pleased to support. We strive to ensure that everyone feels valued.
