We are very lucky to have a really strong PTFA made up of a committee of teaching staff, support staff plus parents and friends of children at St Wilfrid’s. We get together once each half term for a friendly, relatively informal meeting to discuss and organise events. Some of these are aimed to be fundraisers, others are fun activities aimed at the children but everything we do has the school in mind.

Film Night
All these events have proved to be really enjoyable and, because everyone “mucks in”, no one has to feel they have too much to do.
Money we raise has helped to buy a range of important items for the school such as new ICT equipment, sports kit, take home boxes for pre-school children and staging. We also help keep the cost of the wide range of school trips each year by subsidising towards these. This year, we are supporting the children in their goal to improve the KS2 playtime facilities which will benefit all the children as they move through the school.
It is appreciated that everyone juggles their busy lives but please don’t think that being part of St Wilfrid’s PTFA will become too big a commitment. Through the events organised, you can help give something back to our school which provides so much to each child.
